Wilson ISD will close school Thursday 9/19/2024 due to a security threat. We are investigating the situation and will post more information as it comes available. Buses will be returning students to their drop off. Wilson ISD puts the safety our students and staff in the highest priority and we take all threats seriously. Our new gym got a concession stand face lift that I'm sure you all have noticed. What we are still in need of is new equipment and miscellaneous items. We put together a list on Donor's Choose. Donor's Choose helps teachers get classroom supply projects filled with community and a network of anonymous donor's that love to help schools. If you can help out, we would be so grateful. Even sharing the project would be helpful!

The 2024 Homecoming football game was a parade of true Texas tradition. We had mums, Kings and Queens, and Football! The game was hard fought but did not turn out in our favor. The Mustang spirit is alive and well regardless.
Thank you to all who helped make the parade, pep rally, and bonfire an amazing time to celebrate the start of a new school year through Homecoming. The community's involvement really made us so proud to be a part of Wilson!

Homecoming Friday Night!
Our PreK and Kinder friends made friendship bracelets in Art. The entire school is really enjoying art this year!

Our homecoming festivities start tonight! We will have a parade at 7pm. We have horses, fire trucks, golf carts, tractors and even the Mayor! Then, a small pep rally in the gym. Finally, a bonfire behind the AG barn on campus. If you are interested in participating in the parade, please call to inform but all are welcome. Candy to throw out is not going to be provided by the school so if you are planning on being in the parade, please supply your own candy.
The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned before the football game tomorrow night. The game time was moved to 7:30PM so crowning will be around 7:10PM. Seniors need to arrive by 7PM.

On Friday our football team will be wearing their all-white uniforms so we would love to "White out" Mustang Stadium. If you are coming to the game, please wear white!
Also, the game will be at 7:30. The referees needed extra travel time so the start time will officially be at 7:30 PM.

The Cross Country meet on Saturday was a beautiful day to get out and cheer on some amazing student athletes. Our Mustangs did a great job on a really tough course.
