This is a huge accomplishment as the academic competition at the Regional level is extremely competitive. We are so proud of Kaylee and can't wait to send her off to Austin to compete on May 18th!

We are officially accepting transfer applications for the 2026 2027 school year!
Wilson ISD is proud to offer a small-school environment where every student is known, supported, and given the opportunity to succeed. With small class sizes, strong relationships between staff and students, and a commitment to academic excellence, our district creates a safe, engaging, and personalized learning experience. Students benefit from dedicated teachers, a variety of extracurricular opportunities, and a community that truly cares.
Our high school students also have the opportunity, through dual credit courses, to earn an associate’s degree from South Plains College at no cost.
Transfer applications will be distributed to current WISD transfer families this week. To receive a priority decision, we encourage all returning transfers to submit their applications as soon as possible. Applications can be picked up in the High School office or at this link on our website https://files-backend.assets.thrillshare.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/2255/Wisd/a8f728b1-6c00-4349-88f9-e0ca97e69b92/WilsonTransferApp2025__3_.pdf?disposition=inline

Mustang Nation,
On March 25, 2026 at 5:00pm, Wilson ISD will host a Title 1 Parent and Community Engagement Presentation followed by a meeting of the District Improvement Committee. All are invited to attend. We also ask that, prior to attending, family and community members fill out these two quick surveys to provide the district with feedback that will be reviewed at the meetings. We feel that it is very important to gather perspectives to reflect on where our district is and how we can improve. The survey links are included below. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
