Job Title: Aide with Coaching Duties

Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable aide who will support daily school operations and assist with athletic coaching. This role combines general aide responsibilities with helping coach student-athletes in practices and competitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers and staff with classroom and school tasks

• Supervise students in various settings

• Support athletic practices, games, and events

• Help organize equipment and manage team logistics

• Encourage and mentor student-athletes

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working with students preferred

• Knowledge of sports and coaching basics

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Wilson ISD, Wilson, TX
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

Wilson ISD is seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This position is responsible for the general maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment across the district’s schools and administrative buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, systems, and fixtures.

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address safety or maintenance issues.

• Maintain grounds including snow removal, landscaping, and playground upkeep.

• Work with school administration and custodial staff to prioritize and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.

• Ensure compliance with district safety procedures and applicable building codes.

• Assist with setup and breakdown for school events or relocations of equipment/furniture.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in general building maintenance or a related trade.

• Working knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Must pass background checks in accordance with district policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vocational or technical training in maintenance or related field.

• Valid CDL driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work (a plus but not required).
