Job Title: 4th & 5th Grade RLA / Social Studies Teacher for 2026-2027 School Year
Campus: Wilson ISD
Reports To: Campus Principal
Status: Full-Time

Primary Purpose:
Provide engaging and rigorous instruction in Reading Language Arts and Social Studies to 4th and 5th grade students. Foster a positive classroom environment that supports academic growth and character development in a small-town, close-knit school setting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Valid Texas teaching certificate (Core Subjects EC–6 or applicable certification)

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Ability to collaborate with grade-level team members

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver standards-based lessons in RLA and Social Studies

  • Use data to guide instruction and support student achievement

  • Create a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment

  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians

  • Participate in professional development and campus activities

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
