Wilson Town Hall meeting TOMORROW at 6PM.
Mrs. Young’s 1st Grade class came into the library to read a book and got to paint their choice of a rabbit or Easter egg for a fun activity. Mrs. Amy has some great things planned for our Elementary Library!
Our Junior High and High School Track teams are traveling to Dawson ISD to the Sam Adams Invitational. Coach T asks that you be at the school at 10:15 AM to pack up and leave at 10:30 AM. This track meet will be all day and the high is 74 degrees with no cloud cover. Bring your sunscreen, sunglasses, ChapStick, blanket, or anything else to make your day more comfortable. The running finals begin at 6:30 and run concurrently. It may be around a 9pm return time. Coaches will be sure to tell the kids to give parents a heads-up when we are headed back to Wilson. Please try to come out and cheer for the kids, they are working hard everyday.
Our 4th+5th grade Science and Math teacher, Mrs. Huse, chose a student of the week for 5th grade.

What a beautiful day of Tennis we had today! Our tennis team went to Levelland to compete and improved from our last visit. We brought home more medals! Go Mustangs!

CONGRATS TO ALL!
CHEER UPDATE: We will no longer be doing a tryout in front of the student body today at 1pm. The cheer tryouts will be CLOSED and will take place in front of the judges and cheer sponsor only at 3 o'clock.
Our Golf team competed in Tulia yesterday. It was a beautiful day for golf and the students are learning so much. We are very proud of our golfers!
There will not be cheer practice today. Make sure you are signed up on our google classroom to practice on your own. We will have cheer practice Tuesday and Wednesday until 5:00pm. Tryouts are on Thursday. There will not be practice on Thursday.

Wilson ISD would like to congratulate a School Board Members and one of our very on Wilson ISD staff members for, setting an amazing example to the students of Wilson ISD. Michael ran a 100k and took 4th overall and 3rd in the mens division. Michael was also 1/4 of the 50 people that had never ran a 100k race and the only one that had ran an ultra. That is incredible!! Mrs. Zaragoza also put in the work and finished 28th out of 88 people. This is also Samantha’s first 5k. These 2 are showing our students that anything is possible if you do the hard work and believe in yourselves. Both of you make WISD proud!! 💙🤍
The high school tennis team is in Levelland at the South Plains College campus for a tennis meet today. They are braving these temperatures in the name of competition! Go Mustangs!
