Parents of Wilson ISD,
On Wednesday, February 5th from 10 am to 12 pm, our education service center is hosting a reading event with that discusses and demonstrates reading strategies that can be utilized at home. The presenters will also go into detail about the benefits of creating a lifelong love of reading for our students. Attached are the English and Espanol versions of the invitation flyer.

We hope that this event will be beneficial to everyone who attends.
1st and 2nd grade had a social-emotional lesson with Mrs. Mason. She read them the book "Have You Filled a Bucket Today" about how you can fill your happiness bucket and other's buckets by spreading kindness. They did a kindness activity brainstorming how they can help to spread kindness in their own lives.

In Mrs. Smith's ELAR class 6th grade wrote “How To Make PB&J Sandwiches” then traded them and had to follow the instructions exactly as written!
Little Dribblers practice today immediately after school until 5:15/5:30 in the Old Gym.

Little Dribblers (2nd-5th grades) practice for this week will be WEDNESDAY immediately after school until about 5:30. Then again on FRIDAY from 4-5.
