At WISD's Fall Festival on Wednesday October 29th from 6-8pm there will be two amazing food vendors for the community to choose from. Sugar n' Sliced will have Brisket and home style options while Rivera and Sons will offer Burritos and Elote! Come out and enjoy what they have to offer in front of the New Gym during Fall Festival!
Red Ribbon week is next week! Dress up and have some fun all week long while learning!
Power is fully restored at the school. Buses will still run on that 2 hour delay with a 10AM start time. Go directly to your child's respective building. There will be no breakfast served. Secondary students will report to their 3rd period class and continue the schedule normally from there. See you all soon!

1st-5th grade's field trip to At'l Do Farms was way too much fun! The kids all went home with a pumpkin so decorate those guys and bring them on the 28th to be included in the Fall Festival pumpkin judging!
Tonight there will be a Parent and Family Engagement meeting with our Superintendent Wesley Jones in the Admin Building at 5:30PM tonight. Immediately following is the District Improvement meeting. All are welcome!

4th and 5th grade recess fun!
We have 2 regional qualifying athletes this year for Cross Country! Shirts are on sale. I have attached the form. It is a quick turn around to be able to wear them ASAP. Regionals is Monday October 20th! Money and forms are due the 15th!
The Balfour meeting for Grad products will be rescheduled as well. I will let you know as soon as we know!
Mustang Nation. Due to a loss of water pressure here in Wilson, we will be cancelling school early today October 9, 2025. We will run buses at 1 o'clock today to give our families time to make adjustments and feed the students before they go home. The information that we have as of now is that we should have water pressure restored for tomorrow October 10, 2025.

For Junior High District Cross Country Dent'n Ricketts took 14th, Amy Pantoja 30th, Evangeline Zaragoza 16th, and Harper Jones 3rd! What a great season our kids had!
David Pantoja and Natalie Valdez ran in the District Cross Country meet this morning at LCU and both absolutely smashed their PRs to make a place for themselves at the Regional Meet on October 20th at Mae Simmons. David ran a 17:17 and Natalie ran a 14:27. Congratulations to you both!
