From Coach Parmer:
Our Golf team had its District Tournament today in Floydada. Our kids competed through the wind and did an awesome job! Gabriel Solis placed 1st in the JV division and scored low enough to have placed 1st in the Varsity division. AJ Zaragoza placed 8th in the Varsity division and Justin Mendez placed 9th.
This was the first golf season Wilson has had in recent memory and it was a success. We also had a girls team this year that included Lori Hinojosa, Jasmin Hinojosa and Adrianna Hernandez. These girls had some great practices and helped lay the foundation for our program. We are very excited to grow and develop this program! Coach Mata was the head coach and Coach Trevino was the assistant.
