Coach Alica Franklin is married to Jimmy, and they have two girls. Her first is Rylee. She is 21 and married to Izaya. She has another daughter named Bayle who is a sophomore in high school and is 16 years old. Alica Franklin has been teaching/coaching for 5 years. She loves God, Family, and Sports.
Franklin grew up in Lubbock, and she played basketball/travel basketball for most of her childhood. Her grandmother and grandfather were her biggest supporters for all her hard accomplishments; they are her best friends.
She is most proud of getting her masters degree, getting a scholarship, and for becoming a mom.
Something people don't know about Coach is that she has a big heart and she wants to help her students achieve their dreams not just for sports but for everything.
Her favorite way to relax is to watch football or basketball. She also likes hanging out with her family and friends.
Coach is proud to be in Wilson; she wants to make a good foundation for the athletic program. She also wants to be a grandmother one day. Her advice is to never give up.
She said her motto is to be better than you were yesterday.
She loves helping people and helping her students see their potential and she loves helping the world become a better place. ONE TOWN ONE TEAM ONE DREAM.
