It was a beautiful spring day in West Texas on May 25, 2024. The community, parents and students gathered to celebrate the Seniors of WHS on the emerald green football field that holds so many memories. It was a day for reflection, appreciation, recognition and commemoration. Our ceremony opened up with a guest speaker address given by AJ Zaragoza in the stead of Mrs. Mulsow who couldn't be there. Then, our graduates each contributed to the ceremony with their prayers, pledges and speeches. Our Valedictorian Julie Coronado gave a beautiful speech, thanking each person in her life that helped her. Adam Rivera's Salutatorian address was about all the adversity he had faced and how thankful he was that he had so much support. The student's received their diplomas and were formally sent off to pursue their individual aspirations. We wish the best to our graduates and can't wait to see what they are able to achieve. Once a Mustang, always a Mustang.
